One partially printed, vellum page, 19.25" x 15.5", Washington, March 21, 1908, appointing "...Lawrence Wright McIntosh...Second Lieutenant of Cavalry in the service of the United States..." With handsome engraved military and patriotic vignettes and countersigned by William Howard Taft as Secretary of War. Seal of the Department of War at lower left. Uneven toning, else fine.

    Also, a second Military Appointment, one partially printed, vellum page, 20" x 16", Washington, May 28, 1917 appointing "...Lawrence W. McIntosh...Captain of Cavalry in the service of the United States..." With military vignettes. Signed by Newton D. Baker as secretary of war. [and:] United States Army General Service Schools Diploma. One partially printed, vellum page, 12" x 10", Fort Leavenworth [Kansas], June 19, 1925, announcing "...Major Lawrence W. McIntosh...having successfully fulfilled the requirements of the course of instruction in The Command and General Staff School and...has been declared a GRADUATE..." Signed by four instructors. Toned.
