    Sylvia Plath Driver's License Twice Signed "Sylvia P. Hughes." 2.5" x 3.25", Wellesley, Massachusetts; October 27, 1958. The driver's license is signed "Sylvia P. Hughes" on the front, which shows her birthdate and other information, including the printed address of 337 Elm Street, where she lived with Ted Hughes from 1957-1958. On verso, Plath again writes her name "Sylvia P. Hughes" and handwrites both her 26 Elmwood Road address (where she lived much of her childhood and where her mother still lived), and the address she shared with Ted Hughes beginning in late 1958, at 9 Willow St. After Plath's death, Ted Hughes wrote a poem entitled ''9 Willow Street'' about Sylvia and their relationship.

    Condition: Light wear and creasing along left edge. Tape along the same edge on verso. Bold signature.
