William Henry Harrison Early Indiana Territorial Document Signed "Willm Henry Harrison". One page, 12.25" x 7.75", Vincennes, Indiana Territory, August 23, 1803.

This partially printed document appoints David Lampher as sheriff for Dearborn County with Harrison signing off as Governor. Affixed with an embossed paper seal in lower left corner. The document is accompanied by a steel engraved portrait of Harrison from an original painting by Alonzo Chappel. The portrait is foxed in the margins but remains in very good condition. The document displays even toning, smoothed folds with some light, scattered foxing, else it is in fine condition. Harrison, Indiana's first governor, gained national attention by defeating Tecumseh at Tippecanoe in 1811 and would, in time, become our ninth president.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
