    Warren Burger and Dan Quayle Typed Letters Signed to Political Cartoonist Gib Crockett. Two items, both thanking Crockett for caricatures he had drawn: (1) One page, 8.5" x 11", Supreme Court letterhead, Washington, D.C., November 5, 1986, signed "Warren E Burger"; (2) One page, 7" x 9", Vice President letterhead, Washington, D.C., February 20, 1992, with original transmittal envelope, signed "Great work! Dan Quayle". Both letters in very fine condition.

    More Information:

    Gibson Crockett was a political cartoonist for the Washington Star for many years; he joined the paper in 1933 as an apprentice to the legendary James Berryman.
