    Thomas Pinckney Autograph Letter Signed as U.S. Ambassador to Great Britain. Two and one-quarter pages, 7.5"x 9", n.p., April 17, 1792. Sent to an unknown correspondent, Pinckney offers his thanks and expresses the wish for more of the recipient's company. Letter is moderately toned; red wax seal on second trimmed leaf. Large, prominent signature.

    More Information: Dear Sir, At the same time that I return my thanks for your obliging present of the last Evening, permit me likewise to make my acknowledgements for the constant series of attentions which you have shown me whenever an opportunity has offered. Be assured, I shall receive much pleasure if you will at any time afford me the occasion of making a return, being with great esteem & regard, Dear Sir, Your most obliged and obedt Servant, Thomas Pinckney."
