DescriptionThomas Mifflin Signed Land Grants (2) Engrossed to Declaration Signer Robert Morris. On velum, each document measures approximately 21" x 11.75". The first is for a tract of land called "Foxford" located in Northumberland County and is granted to Morris upon payment received by Edward Fox. Mifflin signs the patent on September 11, 1794. The second grant, also issued to Morris, is for land in Luzerne County and is dated November 12, 1794. Together with three engravings of Morris.
Condition: Both documents have have deep folds; overall very clean with blind embossed paper seals present. The ink on the November 12 grant has lightened.
