DescriptionSamuel Huntington Document Signed. "Saml. Huntington". One page, period docketed on the verso, 6.5" x 5.5". Norwich, Connecticut; June 20, 1774. Huntington (1731-1796), a signer of the Declaration of Independence and Articles of Confederation, placed his signature on a court summons, in which the sheriff or deputy of Norwich were to appear before the justice of the peace, to testify in a case.
Condition: Smoothed folds, with foxing, chipped edges, and some ink bleeding. Even toning.
