Typed Letter Signed "Bob", one page on U.S. Senate letterhead, 6" x 9", Washington, D.C.; January 10, 1968. Kennedy thanks Cousins for the gift of Cousin's book Present Tense and a desk diary. He handwrites at the bottom: "My thanks and I'm looking forward to the book. I hope I shall see you soon. Bob".
Typed Letter Signed. One page, 8.5" x 11", Washington, D.C.; May 8, 1968. Typed on "Kennedy For President HEADQUARTERS" letterhead, arranging to schedule an interview during his campaigning. Boldly signed "Robert Kennedy". One month later, Robert Kennedy was shot at The Ambassador Hotel in California, and died the following day, on June 6, 1968. Ex. Norman Cousins Estate.
Condition: Light toning along bottom of May 8 letter. Usual mail folds present on both, else fine.
