    Republic of Texas $10 Currency Note. 7.25" x 3", Houston, Texas; November 25, 1838. No. 2959, issued by The Government of Texas. With a secretarial "Sam Houston" signature as President and "Henry Smith" as Treasurer. Featuring vignettes of a naval ship and of a young woman leaning on a marble column. With cancellation cuts.

    Condition: Areas of creasing, along with light toning and soiling. There is some slight ink bleeding. As mentioned, there are cancellation cuts, but no paper loss. Else good.
