    Description

    Patrick Henry Land Grant Signed "P. Henry" as governor of Virginia. One partly-printed vellum page, 14" x 12.75", Richmond, Virginia, November 7, 1786, granting 900 acres of land "on the South West Side of Cumberland River" to Revolutionary War veteran Richard Anderson. Remnants of the red seal still exist in the lower left corner. The vellum is toned with minor soiling; folds. Governor Henry's signature is slightly faded.
