It reads: "Pay to Capt. Uriah Heydon, the sum of Eighty Pounds, money, to enable him to carry on building of the Colony Ship by order of your Council of Safety and Charge it to acct."
Condition: Fragile, with separation occurring at the fold. Toned, with a few spots of foxing.
