Justice Antonin Scalia: The Jurist's Personal Copy of an Autographed 1990 Calendar Featuring Conservative Heroes. The calendar was published in 1990, but it took another four years for the publisher, Reed Irvine, to obtain the autographs of all twelve individuals by their photos - something he had promised to each person depicted. The calendar features photos of: William F. Buckley, Jr. (January), George H. W. Bush and Dan Quayle (February), Antonin Scalia (March), Orrin Hatch (April), Charlton Heston (May), Jeane Kirkpatrick (June), Jack Kemp (July), Alan Keyes (August), Reed Irvine (September), Ronald Reagan (October), Richard Nixon (November), and Margaret Thatcher (December). Each date carries a notation about an historic event which took place on that date (such as "Elie Wiesel awarded Nobel Peace Prize" on October 14, 1986). The calendar and autographs are in mint condition, and accompanied by a letter of authentication written to Scalia by Irvine. 19.5" x 12". Consigned for auction by the Estate of Justice Antonin Scalia.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
