    John Marshall Supreme Court Document Signed by Five Members and Henry Clay. One page, 4.25" x 6.75", no place; February 10 and 14, 1832. A sheet containing the signatures of five Supreme Court Justices including Chief Justice John Marshall, Smith Thompson, Joseph Story, Henry Baldwin and Gabriel Duvall. Also included is Henry Clay, who was currently serving as a Senator from Kentucky. Clay would run for president later this year, but lose to the incumbent President Andrew Jackson. Mounted to a larger page measuring 5" x 7.25" overall. Lot includes a card featuring an engraving of John Marshall, measuring 5" x 6.5".

    Condition: Toned with some staining from mounting residue on verso which has bled through to the recto. Pencil notations to the mounting paper.
