    INDIANA GOVERNOR WINFIELD TAYLOR DURBIN. Includes: 7 x 9" mounted sepia portrait of Durbin in military uniform, signed on the mount "In delightful memory of Happy Days Winfield T. Durbin" (likely referring to his service in the Civil War), a booklet reproducing portraits of Indiana governors from 1800-1943 and a TLS of Durbin, as Governor, on Executive Department stationery, March 16, 1904 relative to the establishment of a camp of the Sons of Veterans. Durbin served as Governor for one term from 1901-05.
