    Henry Clay Autograph Letter Signed "H. Clay." One page (of a bifolium) with integral address leaf with free frank signed by Clay, Frankfort [Kentucky]; December 4, 1820. Letter from Clay, serving in the U.S. House of Representatives, to a E. Salomon in New Orleans, concerning what appears to be a legal case involving Salomon.

    Condition: The ALS has the usual folds, some toning, and residue of brown paper to which it was previously attached; writing is faded but legible; otherwise good. The ANS has usual folds; otherwise good. The free frank is in very good condition.
