DescriptionHenry A. Wallace: Archive of Signed Letters and Photo. Group of letters written by Henry A. Wallace (Secretary of Agriculture, Vice President under FDR, Secretary of Commerce, 1948 third party candidate for President). The letters date from 1944 to 1953, one written as Vice President and one written as Progressive Party presidential candidate. All were written to Yale graduate Harold Keith Thompson, Jr. of New Haven. Good content related to the war effort and post-war politics. A 1950 letter mentioning Douglas MacArthur and the Korean War with annotations by Wallace is noteworthy. Sold together with an 8" x 10" portrait of Wallace.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
