    Spaight's document, signed "Richd. Dobbs Spaight" as governor, grants 874 acres to David Allison. L'Hommedieu's letter is a recommendation to John Sanders "as one of the Council of Appointment" for "Mr. William Wall of King's County as a proper Person to be appointed for the Office of Inspector of Flower [sic] & Meal for the City & County of New York."
