    Edward Everett ANS, one page, 4.75" x 3.25", Summer Street (Boston?), November 10, 1858. Written in the third person, the note reads, "Mr. Edward Everett returns his thanks to Mr. Twichill for the complimentary tickets kindly sent him yesterday." Mounted to an irregular sheet of paper, else fine condition. Everett served as Massachusetts governor and, later, as U.S. Secretary of State under President Fillmore. From the collection of Henry E.
