DescriptionDeclaration Signer Oliver Wolcott Autograph Document Signed "O Wolcott Judge". One page, 8" x 8.5", np, March 22, 1786, an itemized list of expenses regarding the estate of Joshua Carter. Wolcott signed the Declaration of Independence as a representative of Connecticut though he was taken seriously ill in 1776 and was one of the last to actually sign the document. He was also a member of the Continental Congress 1776-1778 and 1780-1783. Very good condition, a light area of staining along one fold away from signature. From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
