DescriptionDeclaration Signer Charles Carroll of Carrollton Checks Signed "Ch. Carroll of Carrollton". Two items are included. The first: a partly printed check made out and signed by Carroll, 6.25" x 2.5", Baltimore, January 12, 1829. On the Office of Discount and Deposit to William Woodville, Esq. for $325.00. The second: a similar check, in another's handwriting and signed by Carroll, June 3, 1830, for $291.20. Carroll signed the Declaration of Independence, was a member of the Continental Congress, and a U.S. senator as a representative of Maryland. Interestingly, he was the only Catholic signer and the last-surviving signer, dying on November 14, 1832. Checks are in fine condition with expected cut cancellations not affecting the signatures. The second is mounted by the left edge to a larger sheet. From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
HA.com receives more traffic than any other auction house website. (Source: Similarweb.com)
