DescriptionCivil War Loyalty Oath: Edward T. Austin Document Signed as chief justice of Galveston County. One page partially printed, 8.5" x 6", June 13, 1866, Galveston. A scarce Oath of Allegiance, here signed by former Confederate Charles C. Spawn. The Loyalty Oath, also known as the Oath of Allegiance, was a document pledging the signer to "faithfully support, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Union of the States thereunder . . . and faithfully support all Laws and Proclamations which have been made during the existing Rebellion with reference to the Emancipation of Slaves - So help me God." This Loyalty Oath is especially desirable because it is signed by Texas Chief Justice Edward T. Austin. Lightly toned; fine.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
HA.com receives more traffic than any other auction house website. (Source: Similarweb.com)
