Dongan Esquire, and stamped "FREE" in the upper right corner. Matted with a lithograph portrait of Hamilton to the overall size of 14.5" x 10.25". Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804) was our nation's first Secretary of the Treasury, establishing the First Bank of the United States, public credit, and much of the basic infrastructure of our financial systems.
Condition: Flattened folds, light toning around edges, with some small areas of soiling. The lithograph of Hamilton has light foxing.
