    19th Century Statesmen. Group Lot of 3 Documents.
    Albert Gallatin Autograph Document Signed. Two pages, 7.75" x 9.5"; August 14, 1807. A memorandum, written and signed by Albert Gallatin, in which he and John Savary agree to divide the land in Virginia they hold in common. The agreement is also signed by Savary. Scattered foxing, and irregular let margin, where integral sheet was likely removed.
    John Brown Autograph Document Signed. One page, 8" x 13.5", Franklin County [Kentucky]; November 4, 1813. A document in which John Savary certifies that he owns four head rights of land in Union County, which he is renting to three settlers. Part of the document appears in the hand and signed by Savary. The bottom portion of the document is written and signed by John Brown, a justice of the peace for Franklin County, Kentucky, before whom Savary swore an oath concerning the above. Heavy wear, with archival tape remnants along two folds, and rough edges.
    Joseph Desha Document Signed.
    A land grant, 13.25" x 17.25", Frankfort, Kentucky; October 20, 1827. Signed by Kentucky Governor Joseph Desha, granting two hundred acres in Green County to Robert Alexander. Remnants of old archival tape along horizontal fold at center, and areas of paper loss occurring at top, middle and bottom along both vertical folds.
