Description1771 Indenture. This large, impressive indenture is two pages long, connected together at the base with a paper binding; it is dated March 23, 1771. The agreement is between a Robert Portous and Donry Dall; both men live in Great Britain. The legal process being recorded, and insured, by this indenture is a lease between the two men in question. The document comes with all the appropriate seals, and a beautiful Shilling Sixpence tax stamp. The indenture measures 29" x 18". This impressive large document is a great example of British legal protocol.
The indenture is in fine condition; usual folds are present; the parchment is extremely warped from prolonged folding; slight staining on the verso; docketing information present on verso.
