Bond No. 1003, containing ten coupons with cancellations, issued to Charles DeMorse, Texas' stock commissioner. Signed by Lamar during his term as president of the Republic of Texas. Attractively double-matted and framed to an overall 19" x 24.5", with a portrait of Lamar, and nameplate bearing the title "President", as well as his term years.
Condition: Heavily toned, with some bleeding of the ink. Chipped edges with some staining.
