    Description

    Space Shuttle Challenger (STS-6) Flown Entry Checklist from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander Paul Weitz. A one hundred+ page book printed on 8" x 5.5" (plus tabs) cardstock, three-hole punched, and held together with three binder rings. There are eleven pages with index tabs and numerous pencil notations inside. The front cover bears the mission insignia of STS-6, the printed title "Entry Checklist," and a handwritten notation, "Flown on STS-6 Paul Weitz, CDR".

    Included with this item is a signed, handwritten Letter of Authenticity from Weitz on his personal letterhead giving more information about this item, "...It was utilized to ensure that all necessary evolutions occured as required during our entry to Edwards AFB, where we landed on Runway 22. It is from my personal collection of artifacts and has been in my possession ever since the mission." Extremely fine condition.
