DescriptionSamuel Bangs Document Signed. Single sheet, printed on both sides, 8" x 13.25". County of Galveston, undated but likely late 1830s. A court of probate document that is only partly engrossed. Signed "Sam Bangs" adding an elaborate paraph.
Condition: Toning throughout, a bit darker at right and bottom margins. Paper loss occurring at top right, with a few creases and tiny tears top and bottom. Areas of the engrossment have been erased. Two pin holes at left margin. Signatures remain bold, and overall appearance is attractive.
