The "Great Communicator" relates a story

Ronald Reagan Autograph Letter Signed. One page, penned on recto and verso of a blind-stamped crested notecard, approximately 7.25" x 5", n.p., n.d. [ca. early-1990s], accompanied by the original transmittal envelope. The aging former president wrote this friendly note from his office in Los Angeles to Phil Regan of Pasadena, California, relating a humorous story from his visit to Ireland in 1984.

It reads in full: "Dear Phil - It was good to see you. Nancy sends her regards and so do I to both you & Jo. Here's the story. Nancy & I made a brief trip to Ireland in response for them for sending a complete record of the Reagan family (my father). While there a young Irishman took us on a tour of an ancient cemetery. Here goes: We came to a large tombstone on which was inscribed, 'Remember me as you pass by for as you are so once was I. But as I am you too will be so be content to follow me.' This was too much for some Irishman who scratched a line beneath the inscription. It read, 'To follow you I am content. I wish I knew which way you went.' That's it. Best Regards, Ron."

Phil Regan was an American singer and actor, who later served time for bribery in a real estate scandal. Regan headlined musical comedies at both Republic and Monogram studios, retiring in the mid-1950s. Apparently he befriended Ronald Reagan during his acting years and endorsed Reagan for governor of California in 1966 against incumbent Edmund G Brown. Letter is boldly penned.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
