Robert E Lee Autograph Letter Signed "RE Lee." One page, 4.25" x 5.5" (sight), No place; August 18, 1865. A short letter to a Mr. Lyon, in which he regretfully declines providing an autograph for Lyon's collection. The letter is matted and framed along with a portrait of Lee to the overall size of 16.75" x 13.25".

Condition: Usual flattened mail folds. Minor soiling at the edges and corners, else very good.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
