    Description

    Richard Nixon: Office of the Vice President Letters. Group of correspondence all dating from 1955. The most significant item is a letter written to Robert King, assistant to Vice President Nixon, from Tom Edenfield of General Electric Supply Company of Nashville relative to a "Dixon-Yates" controversy (the building of a power plant in Memphis). It is annotated by "Bob" (Bob Haldeman) and Richard Nixon (signed "R.N.") as well as marked "File R N" at the top. It is sold together with eight letters sent to King and copies of his replies from various friends and constituents, some asking for recommendations or help on business ventures, others of a purely personal nature.
