Pierre G. T. Beauregard Document Thrice Signed, once as "G. T. Beauregard" and twice as "G. T. B." Twelve pages, 7.75" x 12.5", n. p., n. d., and entitled "Dates of Important events in the late War relating to Genl. Beauregard's operations." This significant document outlines Beauregard's wartime actions chronologically, beginning on February 23, 1861, when "Genl B. left New Orleans for Montgomery, Ala., seat of the Confederate Govt." and ending on May 15, 1865, when he "Arrived in New Orleans about the middle of May, where he remained only one or two days-going thence to his father in law, Mr. Vellere's plantation, where his daughter Laura and his two sons . . . were living." In one section in 1863, Beauregard could not remember the precise dates, so he signed in the left margin "G. T. B" to a statement reading, "The precise dates of these operations are not recollected." In the margins next to some dates is written "Important," such as at the listing of July 22, 1865, which concerns the appointment of Joseph E. Johnston as commander "of all troops operating south of Virginia." General Beauregard's full signature appears at the end of the document beside "Approved." The docket reads, "Dates of Important Events by G. T. B." The toned pages are lined; minor stains.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
