The left margin has three tears, one which results in the loss of a few letters of the text. Still, very good.
In 1783 at the age of twenty-four, William Pitt, the Younger, became the youngest British prime minister. In part: "The Office of High Steward of the University of Cambridge having become vacant by the Death of Lord Hardwicke: I have been encouraged to offer myself a Candidate to succeed to that [. . . ]: therefore I take the liberty of soliciting the favor of your Lordship's interest and Support."
