    Queen Victoria: Two Autograph Letters. Both letters are addressed to Lady Howard. The earliest, seven pages, 4.5" x 7", on black bordered mourning paper, Balmoral, September 10, 1864, inquires about a vacancy in the office of lady in waiting. The second, four pages, 4.5" x 7", Balmoral, September 21, 1864, thanks her for her previous letter. With an original transmittal envelope sealed with black wax.
