    Princess Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Pair of Autograph Letters Signed. Krown & Spellman retail: $750. Single leaf dated June 13, 1782. Measuring approximately 8 x 5 inches. With folding creases. Some minor toning, creasing and chipping with some small closed tears and minor loss along edges. [and:] Two page bi-folium written to Mr. De Luc and dated Frogmore Nov. 13, 1811.
    With folding creases. Some foxing and toning with glue residue and small holes on verso. Overall very good. From the Krown & Spellman Collection.

    Charlotte Sophia [Princess Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz] (1744-1818), Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and Queen of Hanover, consort of George III.

    Jean-André Deluc (8 February 1727 - 7 November 1817) was a Swiss geologist and meteorologist.. "he removed to England in 1773. He was made a fellow of the Royal Society in the same year, and received the appointment of reader to Queen Charlotte, which he continued to hold for forty-four years, and which afforded him both leisure and a competent income."
