DescriptionMaurice de Tallyrand Letter Signed "le p.d. tallyrand". One page, 6" x 8", Paris, July 7, 1833. Despite noble birth, Maurice de Tallyrand (1754-1838) supported the French Revolution and rose to the highest positions of power and influence under Napoleon Bonaparte. Here the former statesman writes to an old friend in part: "I am very touched that while your time is so well spent in your retirement, you can remember an old man like me. I would have been pleased to see you in Paris but I stopped there for a very short time only, and even, despite what the newspapers are saying, only for family reasons...". Smoothed folds and creases, light aging, else fine condition.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
HA.com receives more traffic than any other auction house website. (Source: Similarweb.com)
