    Jenny Lind "The Swedish Nightingale" Three Autograph Letters Signed. A collection of three letters, comprising of 1) Four pages of a bifolium, 4.5" x 7.25", no place; no date. Signed "Jenny Lind." 2) One page, 5.25" x 8", no place; no date. Signed with her nickname "Ungen", which translates to "kid". 3) One page, 5.25" x 8", no place; no date. Signed "Ungen". All are written in Swedish and are untranslated.

    Jenny Lind (1820_1887) was a 19th century Swedish opera sensation known as ''The Swedish Nightingale'', made famous to contemporary audiences by ''The Greatest Showman.'' She became an American celebrity due to her very popular concert tour promoted by P.T. Barnum.

    Condition: Flattened mail folds. Light edge toning, with minor soiling and wear. Slightly bumped corners.
