    British Royal Household Full Dress Uniform, Levée Dress Uniform, and
    Court Evening Dress belonging to Sir Ralph Harwood, K.C.B., K.C.V.O.,
    C.B.E., Tailored by Ede, Son & Ravenscroft,

    His Majesty's Household Full Dress Uniform (2nd Class)
    , consisting of: Coat in blue cloth with stand collar and gauntlet cuffs in scarlet with gold bullion oakleaf embroidery. Heavy gold bullion oakleaf embroidery along the front, pocket flaps, skirts, and side edges. Lined in white silk; cocked hat (2nd Class) in black beaver, with a silk cockade, gold bullion loop and white ostrich feather border; breeches in white kerseymore with three covered buttons and gilt (rose, thistle, and shamrock) buckles at the knee; black patent leather shoes with gilt rose, thistle and shamrock buckles, gilt court sword in black leather sheath with a sword hanger, storage bag and a gold bullion sword knot.

    His Majesty's Household Levée Dress Uniform (2nd Class), consisting of: Coatee in blue cloth with stand collar and gauntlet cuffs in scarlet. Heavy gold bullion oakleaf embroidery along the collar, cuffs, pocket flaps, skirts, and between the buttons on the waist behind. Lined in black; trousers in blue cloth with 2.5" gold oakleaf lace on the side seams

    His Majesty's Household Evening Dress, consisting of: Evening dress coat in dark blue cloth and a black velvet collar. Three flat gilt buttons on each side with the Royal Cypher and Imperial Crown engraved; a waistcoat of white marcella, roll collar and with buttons of the same pattern.

    Also included are the original Ede, Son & Ravenscroft metal carrying
    box (40.5" x 13.5" x 5.5") with a brass plaque engraved "R. E. Harwood, Esq."; a copy of Schedules of Household and Civil Uniforms. By Authority of the Lord Chamberlain's Office, London: Harrison & Sons, 1929; and a letter from the Privy Purse Office outlining changes in clothing regulations.
