This document, Nos los Inquisidores Apostólicos, renews the edict of October 31, 1766 forbidding the songs called chuchumbé, and adding prohibitions against women's publicly immodest dress and against the dance Jarabe Gatuno. Signed by Commisars of the Holy Crusade, Dr. Juan Mier y Villar, Dr. Bernardo de Prado y Obejero, Dr. D. Manuel de Flores, and endorsed by D. Bernard Ruiz de Molina as secretary.
