Douglass, the "Ass. of Jose Rodriguez Morales . . . One third of a League . . . of Land, situated and described as follows, in Nacogdoches County on the waters of the Trinity River." The document is countersigned by General Land Office Commissioner Thomas William "Peg Leg" Ward, who lost his leg to a cannonball at the Siege of Bexar in December 1835. With folds.
