    Union General Henry J. Hunt: Group of Three Signed Items. As follows. Autograph Letter Twice Signed. Two and a half pages, 5" x 8", Washington, April 12, 1886. Hunt was governor of the Soldiers' Home when he penned this letter to Rev. Dr. Strickland regarding the transmittal of his signature. He has placed his initials after a short postscript. [and:] Clipped Signature. 3.5" x 1". Mounted to a backing card of the same size. [and:] Autograph Endorsement Signed. 3.25" x 4.5", June 21, 1863. Writing from the Office of the Chief of Artillery, Army of the Potomac, Hunt endorses a promotion for "Lieut Henderson . . . an excellent officer." Very good or better condition.
