    Texas Ranger Clint Peoples Signed Appointment Issued to Frank Hamer, Jr. to serve on the Texas Ranger Advisory Commission. Single sheet, 14" x 11"; Fort Fisher, Waco, Texas; March 22, 1973. The commission was formed to commemorate the 150-year anniversary of the Texas Rangers and their service to Texas. Frank Hamer, Jr. was the son of legendary Ranger Frank Hamer. Hamer, Jr. was served as a Special Ranger from 1948 into the early 1950s, assigned to the protection of Texas Governors Beauford Jesters and Allen Shivers during their terms in office. Clint Peoples was a Ranger from 1946 until his retirement in 1974, serving as a captain as of 1953. A great association across three generations of Rangers. With gold embossed seal.
    Condition: Cello tape around all but the right edge well away from decorative border. Light creasing at lower right corner.
