Pierre G. T. Beauregard: Autograph Letter Signed. 2-page ALS, New Orleans, October 11, 1882, written on two sheets of 5" x 8" lined writing paper. The former Confederate General writes to Edward W. Bok of Brooklyn, an author and editor who won a Pulitzer Prize for autobiography in 1920. In part: "I regret that I could not comply with all your requests - I send you however with pleasure my phot. taken in 1865, the last year of the War, with my autograph attached... I regret that I have not any letters or signatures of the Confederate General you refer to, I have already given away all those that I could spare." A very clean example with bold handwriting and signature.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
