    Nathanael Green Receipt Signed. One page, 7.25" x 6.5", "New Port [Rhode Island]," December 29, 1784. A year after the close of the Revolutionary War, the former major general signs this receipt for "one hundred, twenty three pounds, Sixteen Shillings Lawfull money" to Jeremiah Wadsworth, an American banking pioneer. Greene's signature is large and bold.
