    Description

    Maxwell Taylor Souvenir Instrument of Surrender Signed "Maxwell D. Taylor General US Army (ret)." One page, 8.5" x 11", Rheims; May 7, 1945. A typescript of the German Instrument of Surrender, which ended World War II. Signed in blue ink by Taylor. During WWII, General Taylor was in command of the famous 101st Airborne Division ("The Screaming Eagles"), famous for their jump into Normandy on D-Day.

    Condition: Flattened folds, light toning at edges. Very good overall.
