Martin Perez Autograph Document Signed Regarding Charges against Juan Nepomuceno Seguin. One page, folio, San Fernando de Rosas, July 20, 1833. Bold printed seal and headline which reads: "Sello Tercero Para el Bienio de Dos Reales 1832 y 1833." Document is lightly age-toned with rough edges and corners. Fine condition.

Following Seguin's indictment for theft, additional action was taken at San Fernando de Rosas, to the north of Santa Rosa on the San Antonio de Béjar road. A judgment was granted in that town by Martin Perez stating that "Captain Juan José Galan's wife, Gertrudis de la Garza has testified ... [that] her mother, Zaragoza Sánchez Navarro ... was due the one hundred ninety pesos which were to be delivered to her by Juan Seguin of Béjar, who was met with a message on his trip through town. It was carried by Clemente Bustillos as he [Bustillos] has testified ... and the answer he received was that the money would be delivered in the morning, which was not effectuated, instead [Seguin] left during the night..." From the Taking of Texas Collection.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
