    José Antonio del Bosque y Vargas and Miguel Esparza Autograph Document Signed. One page, folio, Saltillo, October 3, 1839. Being a sworn statement on sealed Coahuila paper. In part: "I Miguel Esparza have taken a spotted pinto ox brought from Monclova under the iron of Antonio del Bosque. . . when the troops of General Santa Anna passed through on their way to the Texas campaign, they took eight teams of oxen, of which only the expressed ox I have recouped. I give it to Rafael Aldape who is the one from whom I have taken it. . ." Moderate age toning; heavily water stained. Very good condition. From the Taking of Texas Collection.
