    October 3, 1863, 7.75" x 9.75", addressed to Colonel Daniel Houston, advising him where to join up his forces and where to camp.
    April 8, 1865, 7.5" x 9.5", addressed to E.D. Townsend, transmitting copies of Field Orders.
    May 29, 1885, 6" x 9", addressed to Darwin C. Parry, sending a photograph of himself.
    March 18, 1865, 8" x 12.5", addressed to the Quarter Master Requisition, requesting medicine and hospital supplies.
    March 3, 1886, 6" x 9", addressed to E.C. Brown, fulfilling a request for an old war letter to be sent.
    July 23, 1853, 7.75" x 9.75", addressed to Colonel S. Cooper, regarding his appointment of Brevet Second Lieutenant.
    November 15, 1899, 5.75" x 9", addressed to an unknown recipient, discussing his experiences in the Army of the Potomac.
    September 28, 1865, 8" x 10", addressed to O.O. Howard, giving a description of Hon. R Rayner of North Carolina.
    November 28, 1868, 7.75" x 9.75", addressed to T. Lyle Dickey, supplying evidence for a claim made by Patrick Crowley to the Court of Claims.
    June 28, 1878, 5" x 8", addressed to Major H.P. Curtis, notifying him of complying with a request made by Curtis' nephew.
    December 2, 1903, 8.5" x 11", typed letter addressed to Professor J. Fraise Richard, clarifying information concerning the Battle of Franklin.
    April 7, 1893, 5" x 8", typed letter addressed to Honorable George S. Boutwell, replying to an invitation.
    March 7, 1895, 8" x 5.25", typed letter addressed to Reverend William H. Ward, replying to a request for a submission for publication.
    April 26, 1890, 6" x 9", addressed to David D. Porter, replying to an invitation.
    July 1, 1901, 5" x 7.5", addressed to O.P. Grundy sending his autograph.
    March 17, 1902, 5" x 8", addressed to Reverend Foster Ely, replying to a request for an autograph.

    Condition: Letters range from good to very fine, with usual mail folds and light toning. Some areas of soiling in places.
