    Edward V. Rickenbacker Typed Letter Signed "Eddie." One page, 8.5" x 11", on "Eastern Air Lines" letterhead, New York, January 22, 1935, to Richard R. Blythe, in full: "Thanks for yours of January 15 enclosing season pass for the midget automobile races. I dropped over Sunday to see them with my two young sons who found them most thrilling, and was glad to notice the increased attendance." Eddie Rickenbacker, a famous flying ace of the First World War, was, at the time, general manager of Eastern Air Lines as well as owner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and a former race car driver.
