    Description

    Confederate General Joseph B. Kershaw Autograph Document Signed "J. B. Kershaw" as a circuit judge. One ruled page, 8" x 13", Union County, South Carolina, March 12, 1886, regarding a post-Reconstruction business arrangement. Kershaw was active throughout the war, fighting at several major battles such as Fredericksburg and Gettysburg. He was taken prisoner on April 6, 1865, at the Battle of Sayler's Creek. Separation starting at one fold. Age toned with mild soiling.
