    Colonel Thomas Claiborne Signature on the verso of a printed card inviting admittance to the Gaston Building club rooms of the Dallas Chapter of United Confederate Veterans. The card has an image of the Confederate flag and measure 3.75" x 2.25", circa 1870s. Together with an enameled calling card, 3" x 2", with Claiborne's name printed in elegant script.

    More Information: Claiborne served as Samuel Walker's second in command at the time of his death in Huamantla. He went on to serve as an officer in the Confederate Army on the staff of General Albert Sidney Johnston.
